Hi, I’m Jamie – an Energy Healer and Intuitive Guide. In my practice, I combine the best attributes from my astrological chart and my identity as a Mental Projector to most accurately and compassionately tune into your energy. Over the years, I have discovered that the best approach to energy work is one that combines my personal strengths, my intuitive gifts, and the lessons that I’ve learned along the way (many of them difficult). Add to that some highly emotional Cancer and Pisces placements, as well as the complexity that comes with being a Mental Projector, and you have a healing style that is careful and nurturing, as well as inquisitive, challenging, and truthful.
My work isn’t about following a formula or a “one-size-fits-all” method. It’s about meeting you where you are and helping you unlock the potential that already resides within you. I’m here to support you on your healing journey with deep empathy and practical insight, always honoring your individuality and your pace.
What It's Like to Be a Cancerian
Cancerians (born between June 22 and July 22) are deeply connected to their emotions, their intuition, and their sense of home. Cancerians are a water sign, ruled by the Moon, which means their emotions can ebb and flow, often reflecting the cycles of the lunar phases. This makes them highly intuitive, able to sense the undercurrents of a situation or a person’s mood even before they’ve spoken. They’re incredibly loyal and will go to great lengths to care for those they love, but they can also retreat into their shell when they feel hurt or overwhelmed, needing time to recharge and find emotional balance.

What is a Mental Projector? Let’s start with where it comes from: Human Design.
Human Design is a system that combines elements of astrology, the I Ching, the Kabbalah, and quantum physics to provide comprehensive insights into your unique energetic blueprint. By understanding your Human Design, you can gain clarity about your life’s purpose, your optimal way of interacting with others, and the best way to navigate life’s challenges.
As a Mental Projector, my energy and decision-making style are guided by a combination of deep insight, strategic thinking, and connection with others. Let’s break it down:
- Projector Energy: Projectors are here to guide others and provide wisdom, but unlike other energy types, they don’t have a consistent energy flow to initiate actions on their own. Instead, they thrive when invited or recognized by others. Their role is to offer direction to those around them, but only when prompted by the right invitations.
- Mental Projectors are characterized by having an undefined or open Sacral center and no defined Self (the G center), meaning they do not generate their own consistent energy. Instead, they are highly receptive to the energy and information from their environment, particularly from people around them.

A few months ago I asked Jamie to do an energy healing for my elderly mother after she had broken her hip and had to be in a nursing home. Her dementia worsened from the stress so she didn’t understand why she couldn’t be at home. She was angry, confused and felt abandoned, no matter how hard we and the staff tried to reassure her and explain why she needed to be there.
The staff suggested we put Mom on meds to help with “sundowning” every evening when Mom’s mood would plummet even more. We were reluctant to do this because of potential side effects but after two weeks of this we began to feel there was no alternative.
At that point I contacted Jamie. I hoped at least he could help Mom feel calmer during the evening sundowning period. But what Jamie accomplished was nothing short of a miracle. From one day to the next Mom’s spirits lifted, not just in the evenings, but overall. The staff at River’s Edge Care Home (who didn’t know about the healing) commented on how much calmer and happier Mom was. She expressed gratitude to everyone for helping her, and her sense of humor returned. Instead of isolating herself, she began coming out of her room to socialize and for snacks and meals. My siblings remarked on how much happier Mom was when they called.
Truly, we were astonished – Jamie’s healing was so much more helpful than we’d thought possible. My Mom passed away a couple of months after entering the nursing home, and instead of the stressful and fearful time it could have been, Mom’s last weeks were enjoyable, peaceful and sweet and the time we spent with her was a profound gift. I credit Jamie as well as the wonderful staff at River’s Edge.
